Oklahoma is our HOME BASE. We are proud Okies, currently living in Allentown, Pennsylvania while my husband Josh plays professional baseball for the Phillies Triple-A team, the Lehigh Valley Ironpigs. It's so painful to see our friends, family, and community back home going through such a horrific time, while we sit helplessly in front of the national news outlets. We are now reaching out to not only our baseball community, but anyone else looking for a way to help these people in their time of need.

The tornado on May 20th wreaked havoc on the small community of Moore, OK and with your help- baseball fan or not- we can assist the victims of this tragedy. Any funds raised by this page go directly to victims and local organizations to help support those affected by this natural disaster. With your generosity we can help the Moore citizens begin to recover from this tragedy. Any donation, small or large, is incredibly appreciated. Thank you for your support and please keep the people of Moore in your thoughts and prayers.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If sending monetary donations isn't possible for you right now, or you would like to help a different way, Tyler and Ashley Henson (also Okies with the Phillies organization) are collecting clothes and giftcards for TWO families whose lives were turned-upside down and lost everything on Monday. They are requesting 2t-3t girls clothes, 3t boys clothes, and 6-9 month boys clothes; size XL comfy clothes for the mom who just had surgery; and size large for both fathers. Target, Walmart, and gas gift cards would also be greatly appreciated.

They will be delivered directly to the families if sent to:
Jessica Scott
2203 E. Will Rogers Rd.
Stillwater, OK 74075

The man in the photo above carrying the sweet little baby also lost his home and all his belongings. They are in need of size 6-12 month boy baby clothes, size 2/small women's clothes, and Target and Wal-Mart giftcards. Denise Lowery is requesting that you please send any donations directly to them at:

Joey Wallace
11225 Greenbriar Chase
Oklahoma City, OK 73170

And lastly,
THANK YOU.

Thank you to everyone that has donated. We are incredibly proud of the amount of money raised to help these Oklahomans affected by this tragedy. The devastation may not be shown on every news outlet 24/7 anymore, but it is still there, and we are incredibly impressed at the generosity people have shown since this fundraiser has been started. The funds that have been raised are currently being distributed, but we have extended the deadline so anyone that still wants to donate can do so. Any further contribution will be sent directly to the United Way of Central Oklahoma's Tornado Relief Fund (www.unitedwayookc.org).

Thank you to everyone who donated to the fundraiser. It was initially ending today, but we have extended it until June 5th to make sure that everyone that wants to donate can do so. We are continuing to pray for Moore and Shawnee as they are continuing the long process of cleaning up and starting to move forward.

On Saturday, May 25th the Lehigh Valley Ironpigs held an Oklahoma Relief Auction and Raffle at Coca-Cola park during the game. They raised $5300 to donate to the United Way of Central Oklahoma's Tornado Relief fund. We are proud to be part of such an amazing organization that was so willing to help. They truly went above and beyond, and we are excited to be closer to our $10,000 goal. Speical thank you to the Lehigh Valley Ironpigs, Sarah Marten (Community Relations Director for the Ironpigs), Kurt Landes (GM of Ironpigs), Qtego Auction (who donated their services), and everyone else involved in making the event so successful! #OklahomaStrong
