Sugar was rescued just days before her 11th birthday. She was rescued and was going to just spend a few days resting with us and when her times was here, we would be there. She was covered in about 9 lumps that the vet counted. Some of them were growing, and some were not. About two weeks after pulling her she begun playing with her 1.5 year old foster brother like she was a puppy. We soon realized, she was nowhere near her time! We watched some lumps grow were not going to do surgery. Once day, once of the lumps on her leg grew so fast it ruptured. She was in need of surgery at this point. We never imagined doing surgery on an 11 year old dog, but she still had so much energy, that we knew she would have a lot of life left. We had the vet give us an estimation of about $400, with another $100 for bloodwork. She had the surgery and is healing (as you can see from the photos), but we must raise enough money to pay her vet bill. It will cost about $500 total for everything, but if we raise a little extra, we can use it for our other dogs in need. Thank you!
Thank you so much for helping with my medical bills. Looks like they're going to be a whopper for my new friends at Florida Boxer Rescue. If somehow they get enough money to cover my bills I will give any extra donations to the next FBR Boxer that needs it. You know us Boxers - we're all about paying it forward! Thank you!
