Did you know that lost, abandoned, or stray animals in West Richland need our help? Because West Richland falls outside the "tri-cities" boundary, we are unable to access current services provided by Tri Cities Animal Control or Benton County Animal Control Instead, animals are housed in an un-manned shelter, without access to the general public which limits their exposure and ability to find their forever homes. Each day that goes by in this "closed" shelter their spirits deflate, and their chances dim of being adopted or reclaimed. ASAP West Richland is working to improve the lives of these animals and needs your help. We are trying to raise funds to incorporate and file for non-profit status so we can collectively seek grants and other sources of funding to build a new animal shelter within the City limits of West Richland, (accessible to the general public) and provide necessary veterinary care for our four-legged friends while sheltered there. We estimate that filing fees and initial attorney consult fees will exceed $1,000. Will you help us get started?
