On May 10, 2014, Jeffrey Fraser Lee passed away after complications from Pulmonary Fibrosis and Vasculitis. Jeff was in Northern California on business when he suffered an acute attack of the disease. After 2 weeks of a valiant fight at Stanford University's ICU, Jeff passed away peacefully surrounded by family and tunes of the Kingston Trio.
In Jeff's memory, friends and family established this donation site to provide support for his family which has proved to be invaluable during this difficult time, as there was no income available from either of Jeff's businesses, being in their development stages, nor was there any life insurance.
Funds were raised last summer that made a huge difference for Carrie and Harry in getting back on their feet, but donations are still needed to help finish paying off Harry's school tuition at Minnesota Life College in Richfield, MN.  The school has provided critical support training in life skills for Harry and the other students, as well as advising and assisting their families in acquiring outside services necessary to transition students with special needs to semi independent living environments post graduation. Carrie is preparing to go back into the workforce full time, but continues to have more than a full plate with a very complicated estate; far from being settled, and working on obtaining services for Harry after he graduates.
Please consider making a gift to the family in Jeff's memory to help pay Harry's tuition. Your gift, combined with others,  has and will make a huge difference!

For anyone who is more comfortable mailing a donation rather than making a gift online, please write a check to Minnesota Life College for any amount and put "for Harry Lee's tuition" in the memo line. You will receive a letter of thanks acknowledging your donation, and Carrie will be notified as well.
Please mail to:

Minnesota Life College
7501 Logan Ave S
Richfield, MN 55423

Thank you so much!

**Two memorial services were held. The first was on Saturday, June 28 in Minnetonka, MN.The second was on Saturday, August 2 in Tiburon, CA. A picnic followed and all of Jeff's family and a few close friends helped to celebrate Jeff's life. We only regret that we were unable to reach more of our friends.

Thank you for any support you can offer. If you have any questions, please call Karin, Carrie's niece at: 415-488-3100.

We decided to bring this fundraiser back to hlep explicitly with Harry's tuition. There are many friends who are just now hearing about Jeff's death, and the situation Carrie has been left with that want to help.

Things are moving along fairly well  for Carrie and Harry, though Carrie has been left with a terrifically complicated estate situation. It will be at least 6 months before they hopefully will be getting any money into the estate, and that is not for sure. In the meantime, Carrie should have more time to look for full time employment after the first of the year, but in the meantime, there is serious need for assistance with Harry's tuition.  Any amount you could donate would be greatly appreciated!
Sending checks directly to the TCF bank listed at the bottom of the webpage
is the most helpful. Thanks so much!

Things continue to move forward for Carrie and Harry, but the estate is terribly complicated, and won't  be settled for some time. There is question as to funds  becoming available at any time during the next 6 months. Harry and Carrie still need assistance in paying Harry's tuition, and any amount would be greatly appreciated.
Sending funds directly to the bank address is the most helpful.
Thanks so much!!

The memorial service in Minneapolis on June 28 was amazing! A full house, a Kingston Trio hit solo, and several very meaningful tributes to dear Jeff. It would have made him proud!

Hello Friends and Family,
This is a message from Carrie. First of all, my niece Karin Gornick has made a huge difference in our lives by creating this website I want to thank her publically for all the time and hard work that went into this.
We feel so fortunate and blessed to have such wonderful and supportive friends and family. You are all making a huge difference for us, and giving me personally the space, and time to sort out my financial situation, and spend some quality time with my son Harry this summer without having to feel pressed to make some major decisions about carreer and housing, before I
am ready to do so. I would like to personally thank every one of you, and that may take a while, so I hope you all read this!
With love and gratitude,
Carrie
