Jessica has officially started the long journey back to Kentucky to be with her family and friends and to put Ryan to rest in his home town. She has word that he has safely arrived to Dover AFB and then will continue on to KY.
Ryan's brother Nathan did an interview with a local news station that had contacted us off of this page. You can view that touching video here. http://www.wkyt.com/home/headlines/Family-reflects-on-fallen-airmans-life--219204991.html?device=phone#.UghfLPFYaHs.facebook
The days have not gotten any easier for Jessica as she recalls the last night she slept next to her soul mate and the memories of their years together fill her daily thoughts.
Please continue to uplift her with your prayers and words of kindness and support.
Please continue to share this page as much as you can and THANK YOU to anyone and everyone who has supported Jessica and Baby A so far. As our words cannot take away her pain, her words of thanks will never truly show you how much you are appreciated.
Thank you to everyone who has shown support for Jessica and Baby A. I can tell you she is completely amazed by all of you and the pure generosity people have shown. She has made an update to the current situation and I wanted to share it with all of you, "I ended up asking for an appointment today, and they graciously saw me on a training holiday. I have a nice big ol' baby BOY in my belly. He is perfect. His heartbeat was 155. I did get to see him on ultrasound. Share This Update!
Because of my chronic hypertension, they have recommended me to be induced. They are putting it in my paperwork and allowing me to request/recommend I be induced on 9/22, starting the process night-time 9/21 - in hopes of a 9/22 baby.
Ryan really wanted us to have the baby on 9/22 due to it being his Mother's birthday.
It looks like it just might happen. I am cleared to fly."
Although just a brief update the last few days have been very challenging for Jessica, she extends her utmost appreciation to each and every one of you who have joined her journey thus far and your continued prayers for strength in this time of need.
