Bronzell was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma in July 2010. During that time he has undergone multiple forms of treatment to include Chemotherapy, radiation, bone marrow transplants, stem cell transplants and every combination of chemo and steroids. He has participated in several studies at the Froedtart Medical college in Wisconsin. His treatments have been very painful (with lots of broken bones) and costly. Unfortunately, there are minimal finances available for the remaining costs of a memorial and funeral services. Any amount would help his family make sure he is taken care of and given a proper burial.

This has been a very long emotional journey for our family and kids. Thank you!

The last couple of days have been up and down. We started steroids a few days ago in the hope that it would increase his appetitive, energy and  decrease swelling in his right leg (which has a femur break with a rod).  Fortunately it has worked. He has been eating (in and out burgers and Thai food). The swelling in his leg has been reduced greatly allowing me to decrease his pain medication.  However, today his energy is gone and he's back to sleeping. This is such an emotional and physical roller coaster. It is difficult to imagine him this sick at times and others .... He's so sick it scares me!  His family and many friends have been to visit and support the kids and I. For that we are grateful!!! I hope this afternoon gets better!

Thank you you for your concern and contributions, without them our family and all his children would not have the support we need to endure.

We want to thank family, friends and team mates who have visited and been supportive. We would also like to thank the Salt Lake Tribune for the article. It has been a few years since Bronzell resided in Utah, but there are many people who watched him play, supported him then and were our friends that we wanted to make sure the word got out. He hasn't eaten in 3 days and isn't doing well keeping liquids down, but his spirits are still up and he would love more company. Please continue to visit and support this trust account. It certainly will
make this situation a little less difficult, esp this time of year. Thank you !

We have been fortunate that lots of friends, family and former team mates have been out to visit. i am very grateful for the outpouring of support and love.  I also would like to thank the Salt Lake Tribune for writing an article on Bronzells condition. He hasn't resided in Utah for a few years, but there are so many people who watched him play or were friends with our family who we want to make sure he gets a chance to hug! He hasn't eaten in 3 days and at this point isn't keeping fluids down. Please continue to donate and visit. Our home is open to the love and laughter.
Thank you .. Marnie
