But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God. Acts. 20:24
It has been almost two weeks since Joel finished his course. Although we were shocked by his death, God is using Joel's passing in the lives of many people, including many Christians who have given sacrificially to Collette and her children.
Tomorrow is the funeral service for Joel Michel. It will be held at 11am at FaithWay Baptist Church in Ajax, ON. The address for FaithWay is 1964 Salem Road in Ajax. You can find directions here: http://goo.gl/maps/PFbFb
. If you are not able to attend the funeral, the church will also be live streaming the service. Just go to the FaithWay Livestream Page
to watch the service.
As Joel is laid to rest tomorrow, Collette's burden continues. Let's continue to share this burden, and keep encouraging people to give to this worthy cause! Please pray for Collette and the family tomorrow and in the days ahead.
We had a great start to our fundraising campaign for Collette Michel yesterday! Thank you to all who gave. As we look to Collette's future needs, she will be supporting three small children, and will need our help. Let's keep spreading the news. When we all work together, it's amazing what God can do through us!
Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world. James 1:27
