On Sunday, June 16th, Sara Nelson suffered a massive stroke shortly after giving birth to a beatiful baby girl. She was only able to hold Charlotte for 10 to 15 minutes before experiencing complications. Four days later, an MRI confirmed that there was severe brain damage and she was removed from life support. She was surrounded by loving friends and family. Sara passed away on June 21st, just days before her 22nd birthday.
Sara was a wonderful person. She was funny, beautiful inside and out, great at math, and had an infectious personality. It was truly devastating to lose her at the happiest time in her life.
The outpouring of love and support for Sara's family has been overwhelming. Since so many people want to do something, I have set up this donation site. Contributions will be used to help with the costs of caring for Sara's daughter, Charlotte Ava Rose Robinson.
Sara will always be remembered and truly missed.
If you would like to contribute in some other way or post photos to this site, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Since there are some untrustworthy and fraudulent donation sites, I'll provide some information about myself. I'm a close friend and co-worker of Sara's Mother, Laura East. We've known each other for over 20 years. Sara and my daughter, Jessica Bussard, were close childhood friends. They were in daycare together, trick-or-treating for Halloween, danced in ballet, and cheerleading for the Bucs.
