Again I have to start this message by saying THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart to everyone who has been donating and spreading the word. Only a week has passed when I initially set this fundraiser goal at $300, not knowing what sort of response to expect, and we've raised over half the amount Meg needs to pay her $4500 insurance deductible!!! Meg was able to buy a plane ticket to a treatment center and begin treatment on Monday thanks to this money. She is now getting the professional help she needs and is on the road to the health and happiness she deserves. I've just extended the fundraiser deadline, and I'm hoping now to just keep it going until the goal amount is reached because I believe we can do this! So let's keep spreading the word please, and again thank you so much for everything you've done! Peace and love to you all. :)

CourtneyAlright, the goal amount has been changed to $4500 because that's the amount Meg needs to pay insurance for this treatment! I believe we can get there! Thanks so much again to everyone for helping get to this point. <3

CourtneyHello everyone! I don't even know where to begin in describing how blown away I am by the generosity of so many wonderful people. What you are doing here is beyond words. I hope you can feel the gratitude and love being radiated your way. :) Again, thank you, thank you, thank you.
I wanted to update everyone on why the goal amount has changed and how this fundraiser has already served to help Meg. I initially set the goal at $300, having no idea what sort of response this would generate. I thought maybe a few people would see it and chip in what they could. I never expected this. The very first donation met that goal, and word about this fundraiser began spreading like wildfire. The goal amount was raised again and after 6 hours of this fundraiser being active, over $1000 had been raised.
I talked with Meg (who again had nothing to do with creating this fundraiser, but who has expressed the deepest gratitude for your kindness and support), and she told me her insurance deductible is $6000, so I changed the goal amount to that. Since then, Meg has received word that she has been accepted to a residential treatment facility. She wasn't sure she'd be able to afford to go, but thanks to your efforts she is heading there early next week! With these funds, she was able to buy the plane ticket that will make this possible. She has taken out a loan to ensure that she can start the treatment she needs immediately, which she was able to do thanks to knowing these funds are coming in.
I might raise the goal and extend the fundraiser in order to help Meg with this loan, and we'll just see what we can raise for her! But I just wanted to let you all know that because of you, Meg is on the way to getting the help she needs to defeat this disease!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you! You have done so much to help a beautiful person and are inspiring me and so many more. Thank you. :')
