We're up to our tails in vet bills! Rural Dog Rescue is a not-for-profit 501c3 rescue that saves the lives of dogs in rural high kill shelters or are facing euthanasia. We give these dogs a new "leash" on life. But sometimes that road is a bumpy one.
Our Niko just had surgery to repair his broken leg - this surgery and follow up visits are estimated to cost close to $4000. We also have 5 heartworm positive dogs undergoing treatment, which runs a minimum of $600 up to $750 per dog. And we are still paying off bills for a dog who had to have a $2500 emergency bladder surgery in September.
Please help us dig out of debt if you can! Thank you for helping us help a homeless dog!
DID YOU SEE THIS STORY ON THE NEWS? If you found your way here after seeing Niko's story on the news THANK YOU!
We are truly grateful for your support of Niko and other animals like him rescued from high-kill shelters. Any funds raised in excess of our goal will go directly to help dogs like Niko who need critical care before they find a forever home.
