Once again, I am humbled and amazed at the kindness of people! Thanks to everyone who contributed to Team Kaly, and two very generous donations by Payton Place Auto and the Dennis Kern Family, our goal has been reached!!
Every person who contributed thoughts, prayers, and donations should be proud to know that you were a part of bringing happiness to Sweet Kaly!
FYI….In case you’re wondering why the total amount of funds needed keeps lowering, we are deducting the cash donations as they are received. The current total of funds needed is what’s left to reach our goal. Thank you to all who have contributed to Team Kaly!
Great News!!! After shopping around, a company was located that will provide the new wheelchair for $3750.00. This puts us that much closer to seeing Kaly in her new chair!! Thank you to everyone for the support of Kaly and her family. I am so proud to be a part of Team Kaly!!
A heart-felt ‘Thank You’ to all of the supporters of Kaly for the thoughts, prayers, and donations to replace her wheelchair!
Kaly’s Grandmother has been diligently working to find it. She has personally contacted all local scrap yards, recycling companies, and making public pleas (Wave 3 and The Tribune) hoping for the return of Kaly’s wheelchair.
The chair that was taken was on loan from the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. She has been in contact with the hospital seeking assistance in locating a replacement. She is also exploring the possibility of finding a used wheelchair at a lower cost (thus reducing the amount of funds needed). They will still endure the cost of fitting and sizing the chair, shipping, travel, and purchase.
Her entire family is in awe of the support they have received from the community and appreciates everyone’s effort to help Kaly.
An article, featuring Kaly’s story, is on Wave3. You can read it at www.Wave3.com!
