On September 19, 2012, my husband was in a great deal of pain. I called paramedics and he was taken to the hospital via ambulance. During his 7 days in the hospital, we found out(September 24, 2012)that he has stage 4 rectal cancer. We were told that he needed to start treatment in the form of chemo & radiation immediately. He had the port put in which would be used to give him the chemo and then he was released. But due to the fact we have no insurance,denied for AHCCS and denied the charity funding through the hospital, he has not yet received treatment. With each day that passes, my husband's chances of survival are decreasing. I'm reaching out to you...the public in an effort to help save my husband's life. He's a husband, father, son, brother and friend. He has a great deal of work left to do on this earth for the Lord and I'm praying that God will touch your hearts, minds and souls to help us out.

Kammema Mattox RenfroTo date my husband has lost over 90 pounds since being diagnosed with stage 4 rectal cancer. He has good and bad days. Most days he is very, but he remains in good spirits believing that he is going to get the help he needs to beat this thing. Please keep us in prayer.

Kammema Mattox RenfroHello all. Just an update on my husband Elfonza. He is trying to get through each and every day with a smile on his face. Although he has lost almost 70 pounds and is in a great deal of pain, he remains positive that he will soon receive the treatment that is needed in order to save his life. He remains prayerful and knows that God will make a way out of no way and that he is going to have a GREAT testimony at the end of this chapter in his life.....

Elfonzo is remaining in good spirts. Although he has experienced a few bad days, he's staying prayerful and standing firm on God's word. He still has not started his chemo & radiation, but we're expecting a miracle and praying that it will be sooner than later.
