Brain cancer. Two words no one wants to hear...for anyone..but especially not to someone you care about.Contact the Organizer
Phil Jorgensen was diagnosed with brain cancer at the age of 33. The age when he and his wife, Krishna, had just purchased a home, were paying down student loans and thinking about starting a family. Instead, they have endured a journey of surgery, radiation and chemotherapy.
Phil has always idolized superheroes. Superman became his identity as he fought the adversary that became his kryptonite. Krishna by his side, they have remained strong, supportive and unwavering in their persistence to fight and in their dedication to one another.
I'm sure that most of us can not even imagine the physical and emotional toll that this journey has taken on Krishna and Phil. But strong as they are unwavering in positive spirit, I've never heard a word of complaint, never a pity-party, never a request for help.
As a friend or family member, I'm sure you share the feeling of helplessness when all we want to do is take away their pain. It's heartbreaking to see such wonderful, amazing people go through such an experience. It's my goal with this website to help lessen the financial burden that this disease has brought to Phil and Krishna so they may spend every minute possible together.
Phil and Krishna- I believe I speak for many when I say I wish we could take it all away. Let these gifts help in whatever way they can. We love you.
