In this storm it must be easy to get down and discouraged. Remember the story of Peter when he stepped out of the boat. He began to sink only when he took his eyes off of Jesus and started focusing on the storm raging around them. If your mind should wander into despair, if your heart is overwhelmed, turn your eyes back to your Savior. Keep your eyes on Jesus. He will be the lifter of your head. He loves you and cares for you. Our hope is in Him. My hope is that He encourages you and sustains you today. We pray for your ability to have this surgury, that it would be successful, that you would be completely healed and that you would be filled with a peace that surpasses all understanding. Prayers for a total healing! May God restore your brain to total health and give you peace that transcends understanding as you walk this journey.

The first time I met Katt, I didn't even know her name. We were in the Sundial newsroom at CSUN, where we both worked, and I would occasionally see her there when I came in to work my shift on the production side of the room. I didn't know if she also worked there or if she was just dropping in (like I've seen some people do). But I did immediately notice one thing we had in common: we both used a red scooter to get around campus. Without even knowing her name for I don't know how many months, we referred to each other as 'scooter buddies'. Eventually we found out each other's names and began calling each other by those, but I still remember her first as my scooter buddy. Now I can't imagine NOT knowing her, as she's such a kind, sweet, and funny person. She, along with a few of my other co-workers, helped provide lots of laughs and comic relief during our late nights in the newsroom paginating the newspaper for the next day. I hope everything goes well and you are able to get your surgery. Get well, scooter buddy!

I don't know you but I do know Karlee and my heart goes out you. My dear cousin just had this same surgery last week. Thankfully he lives in France and did not need to raise funds this way. I wish I had more to give but I will send all the prayers and good vibes I have for your speedy recovery.

I don't what to say other than to hope for the best. This is as much as I can give for the moment and I hope we can to the target before Wednesday, there are no words to describe what Katt and her family are feeling but I hope this can make a huge difference.
