In the early morning hours of Saturday, March 30, 2013, Dr. David Warner, a member of the Washington State University faculty, was found lying unconscious in the parking lot of Adams Mall in Pullman, Washington. The victim of a brutal assault, David suffered a severe head trauma in the attack and was transported later that morning from Pullman Regional Hospital to Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane where he was listed in Critical Condition due to the severity of his injuries.
At Sacred Heart, David underwent surgery to remove part of his skull in order to relieve pressure and to treat bleeding on his brain. Currently, he is in the Intensive Care Unit at Sacred Heart where his condition is being closely monitored by his doctors.
With the approval of his parents and family, this page has been set up to raise funds to help offset David's out of pocket medical and injury related expenses.
As a teacher, mentor and friend, David has touched hundreds of lives at WSU while actively supporting many non-violent causes that benefit the WSU community. Now's our chance to help him.
Please join me in donating whatever you can to help David in his recovery from this brutal crime.
