Battle Van is a start up nonprofit focused on providing free, comfortable, wheelchair accessible transportation that disabled veterans of Iraq and Afghanistan will be proud to call on.
We believe in the healing power of camaraderie.
Not only will Battle Van serve as cost-free transportation and assistance with daily tasks for severely injured veterans, but also an outlet for soldiers with emotional and psychological wounds to heal themselves by helping others.
All of which in totally kick-ass, sweet looking, rock your face off, no bureaucrats allowed just move over here we come bumpin our black, wheelchair-accessible vans, of course.
Founder Ian Barr is a 25 year old Army special operations veteran of Afghanistan, Helmand Province, 2007.
Volunteers, DONATIONS, "likes" & "shares", ideas, suggestions and advice are all needed ASAP!
Donations through YouCaring will be spent on 501c3 registration, our first van, insurance, blinker fluid etc,
501c3 registration is PRIORITY #1 and is in progress!
