On January 27, 2012 Anthony (Tony) Schroeder was involved in a serious vehicle accident which resulted in multiple rollovers. Luckily Tony was wearing his seat belt which most likely saved his life. Unfortunately the accident caused severe injuries to Tony which resulted in a traumatic brain injury that had Tony in the intensive care unit at Mercy Medical Center for over a week. The next week included Tony being in the Stroke Unit to keep 24 hour care for him. He has now moved on to Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital for the on going therapy Tony will have to go through. Because of the severity of the brain injury Tony needs constant watch and care over him along with multiple hours a day of therapy to help him along with recovery. Though insurance will cover some of the expenses the severity of Tony's injury will cause him to go through months and months of therapy. These expenses become tough to meet while family have paused their lives to help Tony through such an event. This has made us to come and ask for the support of family and friends to help with the costs of the medical treatment. Any donation will always be warmly welcomed and thanked by each one of us for Tony. The money donated will help with the costs of Tony's treatments and medical expenses along with making changes in the house to better equip Tony for the life outside of hospital care.
