As her friends and family, we all know what Angelica has been through in the last year - family members' health concerns, her own health issues, a job that has taken more from her than it ever gives, losing her wonderful Yoda along with other beloved family pets, and seeing her other furbabies develop medical concerns of their own - to name just a few things.
After living with family members for the last ten months, Angelica recently attempted to move and get settled into her new apartment; however, she found that the Public Storage company where she had stored all her belongings had badly neglected her storage unit. As a result, most of her furniture and belongings were unsalvageable and had to be thrown away, due to flooding and the resulting black mould and rot. Additionally, although Angelica paid to ensure all of her belongings at Public Storage, the insurance company has informed her that they will not reimburse her for any of the things she has lost - not one dime. Our friend has been left with virtually nothing: no bed to sleep on, no furniture of any kind to sit on or dine at.. just a big empty apartment and a few boxes of mementos.
Through all of this, Angelica has remained generous to everyone in her life, because she is simply incapable of not giving everything she has - she makes time for anyone who needs it, gives 110% at her job, prioritizes the health of her pets over her own financial worries, and always lends an ear whenever her friends need someone to lean on. To say thank you, and to help her as she turns the corner away from everything that has happened over this past year or so, we're raising funds towards gift cards that Angelica and Phil can use to replace some of the damaged furniture and household supplies that they'll now need to buy. Please give as much as you can spare - even if that's only enough for the price of a cup of coffee, it will all add up to so much more! Your support for Angelica will mean the world to her, and to her family and friends, who all just want to see her happy and comfortable again. Thank you for your caring and generosity!
