Create your fundraiser. Then select Stripe as the donation processor.
Be sure that your currency and region are consistent. For example, USD for USA.
You will then have the option to create a Stripe account. Follow the prompts and complete the fields on the screen.
Once you receive the first donation, Stripe will send you a confirmation email to confirm the account. You have 7 days to respond to the email.
Already have a Stripe account? You will be prompted to connect your fundraiser to your existing Stripe account, assuming you used the same email on the fundraiser as you have listed on Stripe. To continue, select the button to connect your fundraiser to your Stripe account and authorize YouCaring to process donations for you.
Enter your info into the appropriate fields and select the authorize access button on the Stripe screen.
There is an initial delay of 7 days for the very first Stripe transfer; after this, we'll total your payments daily and send you the funds 2 days later.
Please note: If you do not complete the activation of your Stripe account within 7 days, or your donations reach $5,000 at anytime before your account has been activated, you will not be able to accept any new payments. Furthermore, if you don't complete the activation on your Stripe account within 21 days, your donations will be refunded.
