Help a Family Cover the Loss of Their Mother

It is always a tragedy when a family loses their mother. For the children who are left behind there is no amount of money that can replace what is gone. But, there is a way to show care and help the family in their time of need. Here is how to show you care by helping to raise money for a family who lost their mother.

Meet Jennifer Johnson, Jennifer was a loving mother to two beautiful young children, an amazing wife, and a daughter. On December 17th, Jennifer went home to be with God after a long fight with a heart disease called  HOCM. Hypertrophic Obstructive Cardiomyopathy, a rare disease where the heart hardens and restricts blood flow. Jennifer was only 30 years old when she passed away.

Jennifer was diagnosed with HOCM on February 15th 2011, the day after her husband proposed to her. On the 14th of December, Jennifer went into HealthPark Medical Center to be operated on by a team of talented surgeons. After multiple surgeries which experienced multiple complications,  Jennifer was unable to recover and passed away. For her family this is a tragic loss, that can never be replaced. To help lift this heavy burden, many friends and family members have been joining together to cover the expensive costs associated with the loss of a loved one.

The goal of their fundraiser is to raise $10,000 and they have already raised over $2,000. You can donate to their fundraising page by going to A Heart Worth Saving. You can learn more about Jennifer Johnson, of visit their Facebook page in her honor.
